Chisato, a dedicated classical music student at Auckland University, embarked on her musical journey at the tender age of 3 in Matsumoto, Japan. Under the guidance of Rhonda Shimano, who learned directly from the renowned Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, Chisato thrived as a Suzuki Method student, creating cherished memories of a joy-filled childhood immersed in the world of music.

In 2020, Chisato diversified her musical pursuits by delving into violin teaching, specifically adopting the Suzuki style. A fortuitous opportunity arose when she received teacher training from Stacey Shuck in 2020 and 2021, complemented by concurrent studies in music teaching at the university. Balancing her academic endeavours, Chisato explores various performing classes, continually enriching her understanding of music education.

Chisato's musical repertoire extends beyond classical boundaries. She has a profound interest in Jazz, Gypsy (Manouche), and Latin genres, showcasing her versatility as a violinist. Since high school, she has been an active participant in school jazz festivals and currently contributes to the university Jazz group. Embracing collaboration with artists across genres, Chisato finds joy in sharing her passion for music with performers at all levels, from emerging talents to seasoned players.
